I'm the Founder and Principal of Elite Accounting Solutions. My journey in accounting began in a small family-owned accounting firm in Ballarat (Regional Victoria), where I gained invaluable experience working closely with small businesses and individual clients. It was here that I learnt the importance of personalised service, attention to detail, and the value of building lasting client relationships.

After refining my skills, I moved on to work with a couple of medium-tier firms in Melbourne, where I deepened my technical expertise and broadened my understanding of the complexities businesses face. These experiences shaped my vision of creating a firm that combines technical knowledge with a personal touch.

I founded Elite Accounting Solutions with the goal of making accounting not only accessible but also easy for clients to understand. I believe that clear communication and education are key to empowering clients to make informed financial decisions. As a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA), a registered Tax Agent, and a proud Fellow of the National Tax & Accountants' Association (NTAA), I bring over 20 years of knowledge and expertise to every client interaction.

One of the things I value most is building strong, lasting relationships with my clients. I understand that every financial situation is unique, and I take the time to listen, understand, and provide tailored solutions. Whether it's tax planning, business advisory, or compliance work, I'm here to guide you through it all with clarity and care.

Jon brings over 40 years of hands-on experience in public practice, having started his career in July 1984. Over the decades, he has worked across both Chartered and CPA environments, from small sole-practitioner firms to the offices of Arthur Young & Co. This breadth of experience has shaped Jon's approach to accounting — combining technical precision with practical, real-world solutions for clients.

In 1994, Jon co-founded LMP Accountants (Lane Moller Partners) with Martin Lane, leading and growing the practice for 14 years. From 2008 to 2022, he continued with LMP before transitioning to DD's Taxation & Accounting Centre (part of Elite Accounting Solutions), working alongside a former colleague. These roles have given Jon a deep appreciation for building lasting client relationships and helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate their financial journey with confidence.

Jon's expertise includes investment property tax strategies, estate planning from a tax perspective, retirement planning, superannuation strategies, business structuring, and asset protection. He also works closely with solicitors on will structuring and the administration of deceased estates to achieve the best tax outcomes for clients.

With a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from RMIT and CPA membership since 1984, Jon has dedicated his career to delivering tailored, practical, and forward-thinking advice. He takes pride in making complex matters clear and in helping clients find opportunities to protect and grow their wealth.

Jon spent most of his life in Melbourne's eastern suburbs before relocating to the Mornington Peninsula in 2021. We're proud to have Jon as part of our team at Elite Accounting Solutions, where his depth of experience and client-focused approach make him an invaluable resource.
